Neels van den Berg 3 Day Classes

Neels van den Berg, is a Master Smith with the American Bladesmith Society (June 2022) and a proud voting member of the Knifemakers' Guild of Southern Africa (since 2017). With over a decade of forging experience and a commitment to excellence, Neels leads his team in crafting tools and products that inspire and empower blacksmiths worldwide.

We are happy to announce that Neels will be teaching two 3 day classes here at the Pops workshop.

The first class will be his popular hunter hidden tang class which will be based on his newly launched online course, access to the online course will be included in the tuition. The class will be held at Pops Knife Supply in Gainesville GA on May 22-24 2025.

The second class will be forging an integral, access to the online course will be included in the tuition. The class will be held at Pops Knife Supply in Gainesville GA on May 29-31 2025.

These are advanced classes and previous knife-making experience is necessary, be prepared for some hard work. Ages 18 and up.

- Please arrive for your class at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. 

- Please remember to bring some snacks and plenty of water or other beverages, and be sure to eat a hearty meal before class as food is not provided. 

- We do not use central heat or air in the workshop, so please come prepared for the weather.

- We require you to wear close toed shoes, preferably leather boots and non-flammable (i.e. high cotton/wool/leather content clothing), as well as safety glasses if you don’t already wear glasses.

Depending on the speed of the group, classes may occasionally run longer than the planned end time. Please plan accordingly.

In order to receive a refund you must cancel a min of 30 days before the class.
