The core is 1075 with a layer of nickel and copper that separates an outer layer of 1075 and nickel random damascus. 

Heat-treat

Hardening

Austenizing temperature - 1,450 to 1,480°F / 801°C
Hold/Soak Time - 5-15 minutes
Expected Rc (as quenched) - 64-65

Oil Quench - Parks 50

Tempering

Temper twice for 2hrs.

350°F / 177°C - 63-64
400°F / 204°C - 60-61
450°F / 232°C - 57-58
500°F / 260°C - 55-56
