Center scribes are used to scribe center lines on knives.  The MasterScribe features an easily adjustable tungsten carbide scribe mounted in a solid aluminum body.  The carbide scribe insert is replaceable, assuring years of perfect scribing -- without dulling, chattering, skipping or changing heights along the entire length of the blade.  The height of the scribe is easily adjustable, allowing precise, accurate scribing, even at the tip of the blade.

Tungsten carbide is the hardest metal on earth, substantially harder than steel.  As a result, the carbide scribe can expect to last stay sharp for hundreds of knives.  And when it dulls, the 11 mm square carbide insert can be incremented to another corner, allowing more perfect center lines.
